Classification of high-density optical fiber patch
1. High-density fiber patch can be divided into 8 cores, 12 cores, 24 cores, 48 cores, 72 cores and 144 cores according to the number of fiber cores.
2. High-density fiber patch can be divided into single-mode and multi-mode high-density fiber patch according to the types of fiber. Single-mode high-density fiber patch are generally yellow and used for long-distance transmission. Multimode high-density fiber patch are usually aqua blue or rose red for short distance transmission.
3. High-density fiber patch can be divided into trunk fiber patch and branch fiber patch according to whether the fiber has branches or not. MTP connector is used at both ends of the main fiber optic patch. The diameter of the cable is generally 3.0mm, with low insertion loss and reflection loss. One end of the branch fiber optic patch adopts MTP connector, and the other end adaptor LC, SC and other different types of connectors (LC connector is the most common). The diameter of its branch cable is generally 2.0/0.9mm. Due to the large number of branch fiber optic patch cores, it can be widely used in high-density wiring environment.
Application of high – density optical fiber patch
High-density fiber optic patch can be used in LAN, wan, backbone network, large data center machine room, communication base station (such as telecommunication network), cable TV, fiber optic communication system, building-intensive wiring system (such as residential area, industrial park, etc.), high-density wiring environment such as fiber distribution.
